Gen-Zs often run away from Indian culture or Hindu spirituality because we’re made to believe that it’s all about Gods, deities, demons, spirits & mythical figures in the sky. 

But the true spirit of our Sanatan Dharma – the eternal religion – lies in the practical contributions of very real human beings who preserved, protected & creatively spread its message of Oneness. 

These are the real icons & role models we should be worshipping – but sadly they’re ommitted in our school curriculums. So this directory is a resource for unlearning the whitewashed history taught to us, replacing it with the insights of our own unknown cultural heroes. 

They all have one common connecting link – they took matters into their own hands. They did practice bhakti i.e. devotion but they did not have a victim complex, waiting around for God to come & solve the issues of their times. They breathed & lived Dharma. 

Let us get inspired by their work & do our little bit to restore Mother India’s former glory with pride in our hearts, courage in our souls, and resolve in our minds.
